This project should be approved as it is within the scope of the Comprehensive Plan and is a clean and beneficial economic opportunity for the land owners. Also, the evidence is crystal clear, we need as much clean electricity as we can mange to produce.

My name is Bob Pingry and live at 306 Old Goose Creek Road, Fishersville, VA. Citizen objections recorded for this project do not provide evidence to refute the planning commissions thourough review of this project: 1.) The Comprehensive Plan is a guide only subject to site specific conditons which this project has for approval; 2.) There is no evidence provided where housing values have declined next to or near large or small scale solar installations, one can also say these solar installations may increase home values. 3.) The 3 foot juniper transplants I have planted on my property are over 15 tall after 10 years, over a foot per year; 4.) Utility installation costs are sunk costs that may or may not be fully reimbursed based on market conditions. There have been no new significant industrial development projects in the Stuarts Draft industrial properties in the last 15 years and this trend is likely to remain which is enough reason to approve the project for property tax income it will generate.
