    To: Augusta County Board of Supervisors
    We are writing to voice our concern about the proposed “Ordinance to amend Chapter 25. Zoning. Division C. Single Family Residential Districts. Article XII Rural Residential (RR) Districts. Section 25-123. Uses permitted by Special permit.”
    We live in the Abbington Hills subdivision, in the Pastures District, which is zoned Rural Residential. Most of the lots in the subdivision are between 5 and 5.25 acres (2 lots are larger).
    For some time now our neighbor has owned chickens, a rooster and other livestock. These animals have occasionally gotten loose and been found on our property.
    We are adamantly opposed to increasing the limit of domestic chickens that are allowed in a Rural Residential community.
